Switch off and open
Hold the body firmly and turn the tail cap anti-clockwise. Keep the lanyard clear of the threads.

Remove the old pair
Slide both AA batteries out. Wipe away dust or moisture; do not scrape the metal contacts.

Fit two matching AA batteries
Use two fresh batteries of the same brand and type. Follow the + / − marks inside the body.

Close and test
Turn the cap clockwise until snug, then press the rear button once. If it stays dark, reopen and check the + / − markings.

Read the carrier first
Open the battery end and check the diagram inside before buying or fitting batteries. Use these markings for both the number of batteries and their direction.

Fit one matched set
Use a complete set of fresh AA batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries or different types.

Seat the cap squarely
Start the cap gently so the threads do not cross, then tighten until the body closes without a gap.

Press once to test
Use the single button for on / off. If the beam flickers, re-seat the batteries and check that the cap is fully home.

Lay the torch flat
Switch off and use a stable, dry surface. Turn the end cap anti-clockwise while supporting the body.

Remove all three batteries
Slide the D batteries out one at a time. Inspect the long compartment and spring before reloading.

Fit three matching D batteries
Follow every + / − mark. The middle battery is easy to reverse, so check all three + / − markings before closing.

Close without forcing
Engage the threads squarely, tighten clockwise until snug, then press the push button to test the selected 3- or 7-LED head.

Tip the body gently and catch the batteries. Check the compartment for leakage, corrosion or damp.

Load two fresh D batteries
Follow the + / − markings and keep both batteries the same brand, type and age. If a battery is not sitting flat, stop and check its direction before closing the cap.

Seal and test
Turn the cap clockwise until secure. Press the button and check that every LED in the head illuminates.

Charge before the first trip
Connect the supplied USB-A to USB-C cable. Leave the torch on a dry surface until the charge indicator shows it is complete.

Choose spot or flood
Use the main switch to cycle the white-light modes. Adjust the head to move from a wide flood for nearby work to a focused spot for distance.

Use the side light deliberately
Cycle to the ambient side light for a tent or work area, red for preserving night vision, and strobe only for emergency signalling.

Use the powerbank
Connect a compatible phone cable to the output port. Replace the port cover after use to protect it from grit and moisture.

Turn the base anti-clockwise. On first use, check for a clear disc or paper strip between the batteries and the contact.

Pull it out completely before switching on. The tab prevents accidental activation in transit and is not refitted.

Check all three batteries
Match the supplied AAA batteries to the + / − diagram. When they run down, replace all three together.

Switch on and adjust the beam
Tighten the cap and press the button. Move the focus head between a broad flood and a narrow spot beam.
